4Counties Automotive was founded by two car enthusiasts Michael Welsh and Chris Bowring who first worked together some 20 years ago in the IT & Technology industry.

We had car allowances for many years and were often frustrated by what options were available through our various car schemes or by our lack of time to explore other avenues.
It’s not always possible to spend days looking at Autotrader when you’re supposed to be working.
We identified that quite often people want to be able to hand this task off to someone else. Someone who does have the time to call dealers and discuss pricing, take trips up and down the country to make sure the vehicles are “as described” and generally put in the extra effort that makes finding the best available car possible.”

How does it work?
It’s simple, if you want to do all the running around yourself but use our excellent, low rate finance services so that you can effectively cash buy from the dealer then that’s fine and there is nothing to pay to us.
Alternatively 4Couties Automotive can do all of that and charge a flat rate “sourcing” fee which we establish with you before we start the search. This is payable once the car is bought. By doing this we can pass any savings we make on the car directly back to you the buyer, so that everything is transparent at every stage.

We can sell your current car for you including preparing and photographing the car. We even create the adverts for the major car buying site’s.
Potential buyers also benefit from our dealer facilities – securing finance, trading in an existing car and importantly your car will be insured when in our care and on any test drives (something often overlooked when selling privately).
